EA DICE have been pushing the multiplayer aspect of the new Battlefield 1 title so much that a lot of us forgot that there is also a single player campaign attached to this game. Enter into this World War 1 “Band of Brothers” style teaser into the single player mode in Battlefield 1, and you know what, it actually looks capable of being something worth enjoying. Those who have played past Battlefield titles won’t herald them for their story weaving or mind blowing plot lines, but will absolutely stand by the gameplay and shooting mechanics (as in its much better than its direct competitor Call of Duty).
The combination of the Frostbite engine and the advancements in motion capture technology fully allow players to immerse themselves into a fictional story weaved in factual history. The characters facial expressions, skin, hair, clothes, and movements are eerily true to life as we watched this trailer unfold, and wondered what we are going to be in for once this game is released. We got to play the game in the beta that was released and were thoroughly impressed with the improvements in the games mechanics such as the hit detection for proper character model parts such as the headbox for headshots. In games like Call of Duty you can kill a player around a corner because the hit box is so huge that it makes it easier to play the game, and this is why Battlefield is a cut above the typical casual, because it forces you to be as accurate as possible when taking down your enemy.
