UPDATE: After the information below was leaked, 2 tweets have been released by Call of Duty and Infinity Ward.

The curious thing about Infinity Ward’s tweet that isn’t as obvious as a certain pair of emoji’s listed above, is that “Stay Frosty” was more of a popular phrase in Modern Warfare 2, as opposed to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. This is pure speculation in regards to a Modern Warfare 2 remake as well, but it could also just be a way of letting us know to be ready for upcoming Call of Duty news.

Infinite Warfare will be developed by Infinity Ward, you may know them from the Modern Warfare games, as well as the Ghosts entry in the franchise.

With this news, came a leaked image that shows the box art for Infinite Warfare as well as…can that be? Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare: REMASTERED!

Leaked Target ad that displays Infinite Warfare, and COD4: Remastered.

This is something Call of Duty fans have been asking for since the Xbox One was released, being one of the greatest entries in the Call of Duty franchise to date. Of course, this is all speculation, as the only source right now is a leaked Target ad that shows Infinite Warfare, with the remastered COD4 being included with purchase, but this is still something that should spark some life in all of Call of Duty fans’ hearts. The leaked release date also appears to be November 4th, 2016.
