It’s that time of the year, E3 has begun. However, before the festivities officially kicked off, Square Enix dropped us another peak at its upcoming title Kingdom Hearts 3 during a Kingdom Hearts Orchestra concert in Los Angeles CA.

In this trailer, we see a preview of Mount Olympus, Sora is pulling off some series Heartless slaying moves, including a tag team move where he hurls Goofy at a group of enemies. Malificent and Pete the Cat have an exchange with Hades about trying to find a black box. Sora takes on the Rock Titan on a path up to mountain. And then a scene with Sora, Goofy, and Donald talking with Xemnas and Ansem discussing trying to bring back Roxas, the protagonist from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 2.

We first saw footage of this project when it was announced in June 2013’s E3. Since then we haven’t seen or heard a whole lot else from Square Enix on Kingdom Hearts besides restructuring their development teams to assist in the releases of Kingdom Hearts 2.8 and the Kingdom Hearts HD Collection. Then in April of this year it was announced that Kingdom Hearts was going to be pushed back until 2018 at the earliest.

The trailer ends saying that on July 15, at the D23 Expo there will be a new trailer and the introduction of a new world.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will be available on both Playstation and Xbox.
