The original Last Of Us, was one of the crown jewels of the PlayStation 3 which was later remastered on PlayStation 4. Very few games are talked about in such high regard and even fewer I have fallen in love with. Human characters in a not so human world makes The Last Of Us a game to remember which is why I am so happy NaughtyDog has announced The Last Of Us Part II.

The trailer from PlayStation Experience shows us a now 19 year old Ellie who has been scarred by a chaotic world filled with the infected as well as blood thirsty humans. Her calloused hand shakes from either years of fighting, the violent encounter she just survived, or both. Where the first game was a story of salvation this game seems to be anything but.

During a panel at PSX Game Director Neil Druckmann stated the first game was about love, this game will be about hate.

“If the first game was really about the love between these two characters, this story is the counter of that. This story is about hate, through Ellie this time. The first game you play as Joel, this game you play as Ellie.”

The first game gave us a very ambiguous ending which left me feeling even sadder than when I started. For those of you who played, you know what I’m talking about. For those of you haven’t, do yourself a favor and play The Last Of Us.

Anyway guys, let us know what you think of the trailer in the comments below, or on social media via our Facebook or Twitter pages. As always this is David The Bearded Menace Valle saying be easy and stay frosty out there.
