It looks like Spider-Man will be a little less solo in his upcoming film. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed today that Robert Downey Jr. will be joining Tom Holland in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming.  All that’s been revealed about Tony Stark/Iron Man’s relationship to Peter Parker/Spider-Man is that they will continue their dynamic established in Captain America: Civil War. Just what kind of dynamic they’ll have after the film is still unknown, and will likely remain so till Iron Man and Cap duke it out on May 6.
It’s also worth noting that Downey’s appearance in Homecoming required a new contractual agreement. Could this mean more Iron Man in the coming years than just Homecoming? Personally, I wish they waited another 14 days to not spoil Iron Man’s continued well being following Civil War.  Nonetheless, are you excited to see more MCU Team-Up action? Or are you disgruntled that Holland’s first Spider-Man solo film won’t be truly solo?
