One of the best games we’ve ever played is coming to current gen consoles in Fall of 2017. Rockstar Games presents: Red Dead Redemption 2, the sequel to the open world western action-adventure RPG that elated fans back in 2010 with the story of John Marston, a former outlaw who is tasked with taking down the remaining members of his old gang in order to receive amnesty from the American government. If you’ve never played Red Dead Redemption, then you are in luck (well..some of you are in luck), the game is backwards compatible with Xbox One, so for those of you who own the system, or know someone who owns an Xbox One, can travel back into the old west with more than enough time to familiarize yourself with the well crafted world that Rockstar Games has created.

Rockstar Games tweeted out the announcement, as well as registering a new domain for the game, and created a landing page that teases a trailer for the game coming this Thursday October 20th.
From Rockstar’s website: “An epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland, the game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.
