The Batman Telltale series is a five-part episodic series that isn’t like you’re beat-em-up Arkham games, but don’t count them out of your collection just yet! The people over at Telltale Games know how to tell a compelling story filled with suspense, plot twists, and characters so well developed, you would swear that you are interacting with a multimillion dollar syndicated prime time tv show. I personally don’t get into these games but there is something to the Batman Telltale Games that are oddly satisfying, and if you’re a fan of the dark knight, then I highly suggest taking a look.
Telltale Games boasts that you can carry over your decisions from season one, and friends can help you choose the outcome of each interaction via their mobile phone through their “Crowd Play” feature. You can currently play season one, episode one for free on Steam
“The Riddler has returned to terrorize Gotham City, but his gruesome puzzles merely foreshadow an even greater crisis. With the arrival of a ruthless federal agent and the return of a still nascent Joker, Batman must navigate uneasy alliances while Bruce Wayne undertakes a perilous series of deceptions. Which of Batman’s new allies will you choose to trust?“
Batman: The Enemy Within – The Telltale Series Episode one, ‘The Enigma,’ premieres August 8 on Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Mac.
